Account opening, closing, or management

I received a check from my aunt from a family trust account for {$7600.00}. I opened a new account with Chase Bank with this check. After three days, when these funds had not been posted to my account I had a bank officer contact their office and learned that they were holding the check to confirm that it was valid. I called my aunt, who contacted the XXXX XXXX Bank and confirmed that the check had cleared XXXX XXXX. When I had my local Chase Bank officer forward this info to their main office, they reported that they had tried to contact my aunt with no success. I then instructed the branch manager to close my account and return the funds. After two weeks I still have not received my funds, but Chase has closed my account.
