Your big day is getting close, the cake is ordered, the band is set, the invitations are sent; now it is time to focus on you. Having to get in shape to fit not only into your wedding dress but also the swimsuit for the honeymoon&can; you say STRESS?
Here are a few sure proof ways to get you looking your best for when you say, “I do.”
Begin to reduce your total amount of calories in a day. You can do this by slightly reducing your portions with each meal. It is very important NOT to skip meals. Eating small meals throughout the day is the best way to boost your metabolism and begin to slim down.
Cardio! Interval training is a great way to add variety and intensity to your cardio, and burn more calories! Most machines at the gym have an interval program already set, just hit the button and go! If you prefer the outdoors, try walking for 2 minutes then jogging for 2 minutes.
Pick up some weights. Eating well and doing cardio is very important, but you also need resistance training, especially for your shoulders, arms and back if your wearing a backless, sleeveless or strapless gown. Exercises such as bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, push-ups and back rows are excellent ways to develop and tone muscles.
20 minutes a day 3-4 times a week (I recommend alternating 1 day cardio and the next resistance)
