Improper contact or sharing of info

I had a Corporate American Express card from my employer, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had closed the account when I left the employer on XXXX, XXXX, 2015. The account was closed but there was a charge that got posted on my account on XXXX XXXX, 2015. There was no correspondence about that charge on my account either via email or mail. On XXXX XXXX, the account was sent to a debt collection agency. Even though, I have XXXX other cards with all information updated, the company never bothered to reach me. Additionally, I was receiving email statement, but the company never bothered to send me a statement. I would like to company in significantly improve their practices on Corporate Credit Card and practice of sending it to debt collection agency WITHOUT TRYING to REACH customer. Moreover, they added {$190.00} of late fees. This is totally out of line, given I never got any correspondence of outstanding balance!!
