Opened a new account at Chase. Made my first {$9000.00} deposit and then three days later went to the bank to make an additional deposit. Was told by the Branch Manager that my account was restricted and could not be used and that she did not know why. She or I had to call the XXXX # to find out. Upon calling the XXXX #, they confirmed that the account was suspended because they needed to check the validity of the check that was deposited and contact the writer of the check.
