Today is the sixth time I have tried to access my safety deposit box at this US Bank location ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX IL XXXX ). I have been successful in accessing my box XXXX attempts. The staff states they are unable to access the vault, ( that was the reason today why I was not allowed to access my box ) but other employees of the bank have stated that is not true and the vault was working.
Also, the one time I successfully ( XXXX XXXX, 2016 ) accessed my deposit box the employee stated, ” let ‘s not fill out the paperwork if you ‘re going to be quick ” and did not check my ID or fill out the required form to access my box. I believe there is possible fraud happening at this bank and employees may be accessing safety deposit boxes without consent or knowledge of box owners. I am attempting to empty my safety deposit box at this time but am not being allowed access to it.
