PNC bank offered promotion {$300.00} for creating account.
I applied for account XXXX/XXXX/2015 over phone and agent emailed me coupon with conditions.
One of required conditions was to have total Direct deposit at {$5000.00} within 60 days.
This and all other conditions were met by XXXX XXXX, 2015.
Account was created according to PNC papers on XXXX — XXXX/XXXX/2015 and corresponding documents were sent and delivered to me on XXXX XXXX, 2015.
Until that I did not even know for sure that account will be approved moreover did not have account number.
PNC did honor their obligation to pay Promotion bonus.
It is likely because they started counting from their internal work for account creating rather than from the moment I as account holder became capable to handle my account and in particular assign my Direct deposit to this financial institution.
Until I received paperwork it was their account though on my name and it was not mine.
I requested to compensate delay on those several days because in no way I could use my account before having account number. By the way PNC failed to email me any info confirming account creation and when I called over phone their agents twice could discover status of my account.
I found this as dishonest practice.
