To whom it may concern, I have a complaint I need to file against Macys. I have disputed this account XXXX times and all XXXX times Macys has verified the information to be accurate per the credit bureaus. I have been trying to get in contact with the creditor who is verifying this information for three days and everyone including Macys is saying they dont have the account anymore. XXXX XXXX , 2017 I looked at my credit report I received in the mail from disputing information on my credit report and called Macys ( XXXX ) to settle the account. They informed me that they dont own the account anymore and for me to call Citibank ( XXXX ) which is also known as Macys recovery department. I called Citibank and spoke with a collection agent named XXXX ; she informed me that they dont own the account anymore. XXXX told me to call XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) ; XXXX XXXX told me they dont have the account anymore. XXXX XXXX then gave me an invalid number XXXX which they said belong to XXXX . XXXX XXXX , 2017, the exact same thing happened. I ask to speak to a supervisor or a Manager for all XXXX agencies and nobody could tell me any information regarding this account. Macys manager refused to get on the phone. XXXX XXXX , 2017 the same runaround happened again, but I was on a three way call with my realtor because they couldnt believe what was going on. She witnessed the exact same thing happen live on the phone. Could you please look into this situation because I am trying to close on a house and it is blocking me from doing so. I believe this account should be deleted because I tried to settle it but no one wanted to take my money because they dont have any information on the matter!
