I was billed an enormous amount from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I received the first statement XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I sent them a letter on XXXX XXXX, XXXX explaining the exorbitant charges which were not in line AT ALL with what should have been charged. I did not receive a response until XXXX XXXX, XXXX from XXXX stating that the charges were billed appropriately XXXX XXXX XXXX. I then received a letter on XXXX XXXX, XXXX stating that the account was reviewed and that I still owed the {$1100.00}. I sent payment of {$160.00} on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Since that time I have received XXXX communication from ANYONE about the balance. I just, today XXXX XXXX, XXXX, received an alert that my credit score dropped XXXX POINTS! When I checked my credit report from XXXX, I saw that I had an outstanding collections from a company I had never heard of in the amount of {$1000.00}. I called this company and they stated they sent communication on XXXX XXXX – WHICH WAS NOT SENT! I took care of the debt today, but this should NOT be on my credit report or negatively affect me as I had NO knowledge that this was even an issue or should have been collected once I did not receive ANY communication after a payment was made.
