I called into the bank about a credit limit increase. I was concerned about a hard inquiry to my credit report. The representative informed me she would make a change to my online account, informing me to preceeded and assured me it would be a ” Soft ” pull inquiry. I applied and called back to confirm my previous call and was again assured that it would be a soft pull. Well it was n’t and they Lied like really lied. They are refusing to remove a hard inquiry that I did n’t not authorize.
